Dakshayani Velayudhan Fellow
Hamsadhwani Alagarsamy is currently pursuing her BA.LLB from National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi. She is a writer with Feminism in India, an intersectional feminist media organisation. Further, she works with the Legal Collective for Students' Rights, an organisation that provides pro bono legal help to aggrieved students and does students' rights advocacy.
Dev Vrat Arya is currently pursuing their B.A.LLB (Hons.) from The West Bengal National University for Juridical Sciences. Their fundamental interests lie in constitutional law, criminal law and philosophy, sociology, and studying the interplay of law with gender, caste, and sexuality. They have previously worked with various criminal litigators at trial courts and High Court at New Delhi. They have also worked as a researcher with Kautilya Society at WBNUJS working on the socio-legal aspects of Manual Scavenging in India. They are currently working as a Research Assistant at the chambers of Senior Advocate Indira Jaising.
Justice K. Ramaswamy Fellow
Sitamsini Cherukumalli is currently pursuing her LL.B from Jindal Global Law School. She has previously worked as a Campaigns Manager for Bebaak Collective (Voice of the Fearless), a forum of autonomous women’s movements fighting against fundamentalism and oppression. She is also currently a Research Volunteer at Parichay, a Legal Aid Clinic for NRC Appeals.
Jaipal Singh Munda Fellow
Arsalan Ahmed is a law student at the Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University. He has an interest in Constitutional, Criminal, and Technology law and Public policy. He has previously worked with different litigation offices in Delhi at various forums.
H.J. Khandekar Fellow
Kundan Kumar Chaudhary is a law student at Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. He has been as a Samta Fellow under Coro India, funded by the Azim Premji Foundation, for three years, working with Jodhpur's marginalised communities to improve their understanding of the Constitution, rights, and values. As a Founding Board Member of SocioLegalLiterary and Constitution Connect, he has held various positions, including heading a translation team that translates documents and research papers into various Indian languages. Currently, as an H.J. Khandekar fellow at CEDE, he is working to ensure the inclusion and participation of marginalised communities in legal education and employment.
